Refund Policy

We want you to be happy with Ravenote. This page explains exactly when refunds apply, what doesn't qualify, and how to request one. Plain English, no surprises.

Lifetime — 14-day money-back

Lifetime is a one-time $9 payment. If you change your mind within 14 days of purchase, email us and we'll refund the full $9. No questions, no forms.

How to claim: sign in at ravenote.xyz/account and click Request refund. The refund issues immediately. Or email helloegglabs@gmail.com if you'd rather have us do it for you. Stripe usually takes 5–10 days to return the money to your card.

After 14 days, Lifetime is final. We can't offer refunds outside this window.

Pro — cancel anytime, no partial-month refunds

Pro is a $5/month subscription. You can cancel at any time from Settings; your access continues until the end of the current billing period, and you won't be charged again.

We don't refund partial months. If you cancel three days into a billing cycle, you keep Pro for the rest of those 30 days but we don't refund the unused portion.

Top-up credits — non-refundable

Top-up credit packs are AI usage you've already prepaid. Once we've added the credits to your account they're non-refundable, because the cost to us is incurred whether you use them or not. Unused credits don't expire — they sit on your account until you spend them.

Switching plans

Pro → Lifetime. Your remaining Pro days stay active until the end of the cycle you already paid for, then your subscription ends and you become Lifetime forever. You're not double-charged and the Pro days you've already paid for don't go to waste.

Lifetime → Pro. Inside the 14-day Lifetime window, switching to Pro automatically refunds your Lifetime $9 — you end up on Pro only, no overlapping charges. After 14 days, Lifetime is final: subscribing to Pro on top would just charge $5/month for benefits Lifetime already covers, so we block it at checkout.

Free → paid. No refund question — you're just upgrading.

Chargebacks and disputes

If you dispute a charge with your card issuer instead of contacting us, the bank will pull the money from us automatically. When that happens we drop the affected account back to Free. We won't fight chargebacks — we'd rather you just emailed us first, and almost every dispute is faster to resolve over email anyway.

EU and UK customers — 14-day right of withdrawal

If you're in the EU or UK, consumer law gives you a 14-day right of withdrawal on online purchases of digital services. This right can be waived for digital content delivered immediately, which Ravenote is.

At checkout you'll see a box you can tick to confirm you want immediate access and to waive the right of withdrawal. If you tick it, our standard 14-day Lifetime money-back still applies — you're not giving up your refund window, just the separate statutory withdrawal right. If you don't tick it, your purchase is held for 14 days before access is granted.

For Pro subscriptions, withdrawal applies only to the very first month and only if you haven't generated notes yet. Subsequent renewals are not eligible.

Service interruptions and bugs

If the extension is broken in a way we can't fix within a reasonable time and that prevents you from using your plan, contact us. We'll either fix it or refund the unused portion at our discretion. This is judgment, not a formula — we'll be fair.

Account deletion

Deleting your account does not by itself trigger a refund. If you want a refund on Lifetime, request it within the 14-day window before deletion.

Currency, taxes, and processing fees

Refunds are issued in the currency of the original charge. We refund the full amount you paid; processing fees we owe Stripe are absorbed by us. If your card was charged in a different currency than USD, your bank's exchange rate at refund time may differ slightly from the original — this is outside our control.

How to request a refund

Email helloegglabs@gmail.com from the address on your Ravenote account. Include:

  • The account email (so we can find you in Stripe)
  • Approximate purchase date
  • One sentence on the reason — optional but helpful so we can fix the underlying issue

We respond within two business days. Stripe processes the refund the same day we issue it, and your card issuer usually shows the credit within 5–10 days.
